My name is Matthew Leane, I’m a professional photographer in Melbourne, Australia. Inspired from Pulitzer award winning photojournalists with editorial narrative. Grandson of Olympic athlete Patrick Leane from the 1952 and 1956 Olympic Games. Welcome any tips or comments from the articles published. Silver award and commended award winner from the AIPP and Australian Photographic Prize.
Matthew Leane is an accomplished Australian photographer born on August 21, 1987, in Melbourne. He has a strong background in photography, having graduated from the Photography Studies College with both an Advanced Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree.
Leane has worked on notable projects, including still photographer for “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” in New Zealand. He has also achieved recognition with two national AIPP silver awards in the categories of Portrait and Illustrative photography.
In addition to his photography, Leane has experience in cinematography and video production, having directed and edited several short films. His work has been featured in various publications, and he has received commendations for his contributions to the field.
